Yield and Quality Stabilities of Waxy Maize Genotypes using Biplot Analysis

This study was carried out to determine the stability of promising waxy maize (10 candidates, 2 standard varieties) genotypes in terms yield, yield components and quality characteristics different environments for two years (2018-2019) under Samsun conditions. The GGE AMMI biplot analysis were used genotypes. experimental lay randomized blocks with 3 replications. Mean grain yields ranged from 8560.6 17290.6 kg ha-1, number days flowering 71.3 77.5 days, plant height 251.7 295.0 cm, first ear 85.3 98.3 cob ratio 81.3 85.5%, moisture content 20.5 25.0%, single weight 145 286.3 g, cobs per 0.9 1.0 plant-1, 1000 317.7 402.2 hectoliter 76.9 79.3%, crude protein 9.4 10.4%, oil 3.3 5.0%, total starch 57.5 60.0%, carbohydrate 69.6 71.6%, energy value 383.8 393.7 kcal. result variance indicated that chemical composition varieties significantly (p>0.01) between (G), (E) genotype x environment (GE) interactions. effect on 95.15%, 0.49%, GE interaction 4.15%. (AMMI GGE) multivariate a large variation ADAX11 ADAX18 higher compared other tested. In addition, model analyzes provide great ease corn breeders scientific accurate assessment high adaptations hybrids.
